I can’t imagine an 11 year old little boy taking a shotgun and killing a woman that is 8 month pregnant with his half brother or sister because of jealousy?  When I heard and read about this story, it literally brought me to tears.  My father left our family for a younger woman and had two more children with her and hasn’t supported us at all but still, I wish her no harm or the children they have.

I can’t see my younger brother doing anything like that either so how could this boy do something like that?  It’s just unimaginable to me.  Here’s some of the story:

Fifth-grader Jordan Brown boarded the bus and headed to school like he did most other mornings in this rural western Pennsylvania community. But before he left home on Friday, authorities say, the 11-year-old boy had shot his father’s pregnant fiancee in the back of the head as she lay in bed. He then put his youth model 20-gauge shotgun back in his room before going out to catch his bus, police say.

Brown was charged Saturday as an adult in the death of 26-year-old Kenzie Marie Houk, who was eight months pregnant, Lawrence County District Attorney John Bongivengo said. Houk’s fetus died within minutes due to a lack of oxygen, Lawrence County Coroner Russell Noga said.

Houk’s family and friends, who gathered at her parents’ house Saturday night, told The Associated Press that there had been past problems with the boy. “He actually told my son that he wanted to do that to her,” said Houk’s brother-in-law, Jason Kraner. “There was an issue with jealousy.”

IF there had been problems with this child before this and he told someone he wanted to do this then how is it that nothing was done to help this child before it got to this point?  Where is the help in this world when you need it.  There are far too many cases like this where there was a problem and no one there with any help.  I just don’t understand!!!!!

My younger brother has been making stop motion videos and they are really pretty darn neat.  Well I found a site called Burn2DVD.com where he can upload his video’s and they will convert them into DVDs and even market them.  That’s a pretty cool site for amature movie makers I think so if you’re into that, check them out.

A friend of mine sent me this in an email.  I checked some of it out but thought there might be someone out there that knew if most of it was true or not without me having to take so much time checking it all out.  Let me know if you know what’s true and what isn’t please.  I have never been much on history but this has sparked my interest.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named ‘Ford.’
Kennedy was shot in a car called ‘ Lincoln ‘ made by ‘Ford.’

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

I found this on youtube and I swear it sounds just like my mother. I showed it to her and I don’t think I have ever heard her laugh so hard in my life. She absolutely loved it. In fact, she put the music on a CD and that’s what wakes my brother up every morning now. It’s that funny!!! He hates it but she won’t let him change it. Anyway, here it is!!!

I was watching Oprah the other day and she had this doctor on her show that had done a lot of studying about some thing called the acai berry.  It has a lot of benefits but it’s supposed to help you lose weight too.  I like the thought of it not being a drug but something natural.

I found out where I could purchase acai berry products online and it told me a lot about the products too. It was really interesting.  It’s supposed to clean your digestive system and help you have an overall healthy body function too.  That sounds great to me so Mom and I are going to try it.
