I was on MSN checking out MSNBC and found a story about a couple that got married 20 feet under water in Oregon. Why? That makes no sense to me at all. Did the whole wedding party have to learn to scuba dive just to be able to see the wedding. Besides, no one could hear the “I do’s” with a mask on and that thing in their mouths so they could breathe. People can do some crazy things. Go to http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25902863/?GT1=43001 and you can read it for yourself. IF I ever get married, it sure won’t be under water.

Now that I’m 18, I have really been thinking about getting a credit card. Mom’s credit isn’t that good since Daddy left like I told you so I thought maybe I could and should start building some credit of my own. You really have to be careful when it comes to most credit card offers . Some that seem great have all sorts of hidden fees in them and you end up with a big bill before you even have a chance to use the card once.
I checked into low interest credit cards and found several online. Those are great because you don’t have to worry as much about the interest piling up. Then I checked into cash back credit cards and really liked the fact that you get cash back on them. That’s pretty darn good I think. There are also balance transfer credit cards that I was thinking I could transfer some of Moms higher interest cards on to mine, save her some money and build my credit at the same time. They offer online credit card approval which makes it easy to see if you qualify once you find a card you think that would work for you.

With school starting just around the corner, I have been taking part of my paycheck each week and buying a few things here and there for my brother and sister. They both are going to need so many supplies that it’s one more thing worrying Mom. Since I gave up my scholarship to Duke, I have gotten scholarships to help pay for everything at the community college. Grandpa was sweet enough to just give me the money he saved for me to go to college so I could help out Mom. I wish they would stop feeling so guilty about the way Daddy did us. It wasn’t them that did it or them that told him to do it. They have been so good to not only us but also to Mom. Grandparents are the best.

Mom’s medical bills are piling up quicker than we can pay them. I suggested she check into bad credit personal loan since her credit isn’t that great since Daddy left a mess for us. She didn’t like the idea of applying for a loan online but I showed her that it is secure and no one can get her information from them. Besides, it will end up helping her credit improve and I will help pay it back since I’m working close to full time over the summer. A Personal Loan will help keep her from worrying about all the medical bills adding up.

Christian and I both took the day off, went riding and just relaxed for a change. I have had so much on my mind with my mother not doing very well that I needed a break and Christian was sweet enough to realize it. He took me riding out to the lake where we spent a few hours laying on the beach and playing in the water. It was just what I needed. Now it’s back to trying to figure out how best to help Mom.
