I bet you’re wondering why anyone would take time out from their spring break to write a blog??? Well it’s sort of like writing in your diary anyway so why wouldn’t I then? I don’t know about you where you are but down here, we go to Myrtle Beach for spring break. I bet most of you already know that it’s in South Carolina but just in case you don’t, Myrtle Beach IS in South Carolina!!! I came down with my parents unlike some of the kids from school. They came down as a group and I bet they’re drinking and partying hearty. I’m not into that. There’s too much of a chance of getting into trouble you don’t really want doing stuff like that.
We have had a blast just the same. We went to ‘Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede’ and had the best time. The food was great and the show was really something to see. If you go to Myrtle Beach, you have to check that place out. We rented jet skis one day, went to T.I.G.E.RS. wildlife preserve another day and basically had about the best time we have ever had and we’ve been going to Myrtle Beach for quite some time. We usually rent a house at Holden Beach and just go to Myrtle for the day. It’s only about 35 miles away so you can still go to Myrtle when you want to do something specific that they don’t have at Holden Beach. I like Holden Beach better because there’s a whole lot less people. It’s more of a family based beach. We’ll be headed home Saturday to try and beat some traffic since we’ve been here since Monday anyway. Then it’s back to the books!!!
